From November 23, 2024 to January 12, 2025, Zaraysk will host the city festival of contemporary art “Reboot. 2.0”, combining culture and education.
The festival is a space for sharing experiences and reflection through education and cultural dialogue. Here, the line between viewers and artists disappears, and in the process of joint creativity and perception, new ideas and meanings are discovered, and a single language of art is formed.
The key location of the festival is an art space created in a historic building that will become a symbol of the city’s reboot. There will be exhibitions, interactive installations and educational areas where experts will discuss the impact of art on the creative economy of the region. Among the speakers is Zelfira Tregulova, former Director General of the Tretyakov Gallery.
The festival’s guests will see works by 50 artists, including famous masters such as Yuri Cooper, Ksenia Sandesco, Maria Buglak, Pavel Kisilev, Pavel Polyansky and others. The program also includes workshops, performances, walking performances and a souvenir fair.
Other important locations of the festival are the Masthead House, the Zaraisky Kremlin and the Water Tower. During these days, a space for relaxation will be created, as well as cultural events that will attract guests and inspire creativity.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region, and the project is curated by producer Marina Glukhova and gallery owner Polina Askeri.
