Mosaic made of natural stone is the most ancient way to create durable paintings. Our ancestors chose different materials for these purposes – from precious gems to simple river pebbles. Today, the choice of raw materials used has increased significantly – stone mosaics can be natural or artificial, with a polished or matte surface. Natural stone or decorative porcelain stoneware, agglomerates based on acrylic or polyester resins can be used.

Stone mosaic – materials used
Wizdecor craftsmen use various natural and artificial raw materials in their work. The most common mosaic made of natural stone:
– inlay and decoration of furniture and interior items with precious gems;
– production of panels from ornamental raw materials – jasper, agate, malachite, lapis lazuli;
– facing with granite, marble, basalt;
– the use of simple pebbles, sandstone for finishing steps, facades, plinths.
Mosaic material from artificial raw materials is widely used, which is also highly decorative, colorful, and has good performance characteristics. The cost of such paintings and panels is much lower than mosaics made of natural stone. In the Wizdecor studio, it is possible to manufacture mosaic finishes from any materials the customer likes.
