The 7th exhibition “TrynTrava. Modern Russian style”
The motto of the exhibition is: “Traditions are the transmission of fire, not the worship of ashes.”
From October 30 to November 20, the seventh annual exhibition “TrynTrava. Modern Russian style”. Among the participants are artists, sculptors, designers, decorators, textile specialists, ceramic artists and representatives of the oldest decorative industries reflecting on our cultural code.
“Tryn*Grass. Russians Russian Style” is the first exhibition in Russia since 2018, aimed at popularizing the modern Russian style through interior items. The main objective of the exhibition is to demonstrate to a wide audience the Creators’ reflections on the cultural heritage uniting the diversity of peoples living in Russia, as well as to awaken love for Russian culture, traditions, customs and history.
The organizers of the exhibition — Elina Tuktamisheva, Irina Batkova, Svetlana Popova — based on the applications show a cross-section of this year’s reflections. The exhibition includes collectible and mass-produced design, decorative and applied art and art. Russians Russian style is popularized by the exhibition through interior items that add elements of Russian culture to modern homes. This creates a space where children grow up surrounded by their traditions, and the Russian style is revealed in a modern, stylish and loving way.
The seventh year of the exhibition “TrynTrava” was the Year of the Family, which formed the basis of the concept of the exhibition. The theme of “the 7th” is end-to-end for the exhibition this year, a separate hall is designed as a children’s room. It is important that children feel their cultural code, including through interior items.
